Jonnathan Menendez was born in Ventura, CA, but grew up—for the early part of his childhood—in the beautiful country of Guatemala. He returned to the U.S. at the age of eleven and made friends by playing soccer 24/7. Growing up in a Christian family, Jonnathan knew about God, but did not know Him personally until after graduating from high school and after a series health-related circumstances affected his life. It was in the midst of pain and suffering that a new passion and love for God—and a subsequent call to ministry—was born.

Jonnathan is currently a Master of Divinity (MDiv) student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS). He is a graduate from Eternity Bible College, where he earned a Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree. He also attended a community college near his hometown in California, where he earned three associates degrees in Spanish, Humanities, and Liberal Arts.

Jonnathan is a former Christian Radio DJ/Broadcaster (Spanish), youth pastor, job coach for individuals with developmental and learning disabilities, Paraeducator (Spanish), Spanish Ministry Director, Missions Intern and is currently a Registered Courtroom Interpreter (Spanish) and a High School Spanish teacher in Oklahoma City, OK.

Jonnathan’s biggest passion is to know, love, and proclaim the Triune God and His unchanging truth. He loves to encourage, equip, and empower others to know the greatness of God and fulfill their God-given calling.
